Welcome! I am a Washington State Licensed Acupuncturist and also Nationally Board Certified in both Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine. I earned my Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University. In addition, I have certifications in Reiki Level III and Cranio Sacral Therapy to help further integrate healing into my patients’ lives. In addition to the broad set of issues addressed by acupuncture, an area of expertise and focus of my practice is women’s health.
My undergraduate degree is in Fisheries & Wildlife Biology. That field is dear to my heart and I will always have a strong desire to preserve and protect our environment. Now, I work on a different environment – the internal environment of the human body. After dealing with various health issues of my own and using alternative medicine including acupuncture quite regularly, I realized how effective its treatments were and became drawn to the field. Since I already practiced several types of energy healing, acupuncture seemed like a perfect fit to balance out and integrate my techniques.
